Luanda — Angola and Mozambique signed on Friday here a Memorandum of Understanding for the reinforcement of the co-operation at the level Of the two countries Attorney-Offices, Angop has learnt.
By Angola signed the general attorney, João Maria de Sousa, and Mozambique, Augusto Raul Paulino, who is paying an official visit since May 16.
Exchange of experience in judicial domains, training of magistrates, joint holding of seminars and talks for the debate of various themes linked to the sector are the factors of the memo.
Commenting on the memo, João Maria de Sousa said that it is the result of an interchange and good relations between the two institutions that date back to various years.
“What we did was to formalise on the paper, through this bilateral memorandum, the excellent relations”, the official considered, adding that the document will come into force within 60 days.
Mozambique’s Attorney-general believes that the document signed on Friday will construct partnerships for a co-ordinated and joint activities that can contribute to the development of the two institutions, among them the control of the legality, prevention and fight against crimes and protection of incapables.
