Luanda — The memorandum that will be signed Friday in Luanda between the Attorney Offices of Angola and Mozambique comprises several components, with a stress to training of human resources, Angop learned Tuesday here.
The information was released by Angolan attorney general, João Maria Moreira de Sousa, after a visit his Mozambican counterpart, Raul Augusto Paulino, paid to the Supreme, Constitutional and Audit Courts and to the Justice Ministry.
According to the Angolan magistrate, this is in response to an intention expressed in the Maputo Declaration, during his visit to that African Portuguese speaking country of the Indian Ocean in 2009.
The source recalled that during his stay in Mozambique, he visited the Centre of Judiciary Studies (CEJ), where he learned of the institution’s great capacity to accommodate trainees.
Meanwhile, commenting on the result of the visit to the above mentioned institutions, the Mozambican attorney general said he was impressed with the performance and effort of judges and prosecutors in fulfilling their duties.
