MASINDE Muliro University of Agriculture and Technology (MMUST) beat United States International University (USIU) 89-75 in a Premier League clash at Nyayo Stadium. MMUST, who lost 79-92 to Ulinzi Warriors the previous day, were trailing 39-48 at the breather. Lugasi brothers Alex and Fred lifted the students with 20 and 1 6 points respectively. Victor Bosire nailed 27 for Tigers. Struggling Kenya College of Accountancy University (KCA) outwitted Blazers 57-47 in another top tier that did not live up to expectations. In the women’s matches, Eagle Wings torched Co-operative Bank of Kenya 66-54, behind Silalei Agalo 17 and Angela Okoth 16. The bankers had 20 from Irene Makori. Gladiators had 13 points from Michelle Otinda as they doused USIU Flames. In the lower division, World Hope pipped University of Nairobi “Terrorists” 65-62 and Africa Nazarene University (ANU) beat Kenya Polytechnic University 57-53. Kenya Polytechnic were felled 47-37 by Trailblazers while “Terrorists” blanked Nairobi Aviation College (NAC) 62-46.
