Olympic Marathon Champion Samuel Wanjiru’s wife Triza Njeri and a watchman Stephen Maigua have been arrested in connection with his death. They both had recorded statements and released earlier. A woman allegedly in the company of Wanjiru at the time of his death is also in police custody. Police say Wanjiru died from injuries sustained on impact after falling off the first floor of his house in Nyahururu, following a quarrel with his wife who found him with another woman at midnight on arrival from Nairobi where she lives.
