IN our Wednesday Big Brother Amplified update, we observed how the Tails overrated themselves by daring a 100 per cent wager for their task.

It was during the execution of this task that Luclay and Ernest engaged in a serious war of words putting their 100 per cent wager in a big jeopardy.

The Tailmates should have been extra careful and concentrate much on their task when they agreed to go for the challenging 100 per cent wager.

Borrowing Big Brothers actual words, ‘unfortunately you have lost your wager’ is exactly what happened just as predicted in our edition after scrutinising their frail effort to the task.

The scenario was not good as Big Brother told the housemates that it was rather foolish for them to overrate themselves that much when they could not put a lot of effort to the task which needed their maximum concentration.

Biggie announced to the Tailmates that the kitchen was messy, the calendar photo-shot was bad because out of the 48 pictures, only six were found usable and the behind the scenes video shooting was shaky making it practically impossible to get a 100 per cent wager though he said the Coca-Cola task was appreciated.

This angered the housemates to the point of calling for an urgent meeting outside to plan for a strike.

Before the meeting, Nkuli and Alex engaged in a serious squabble after Alex kind of started to throw blame on individuals for the wager loss.

Nkuli felt as though she was the intended target and stood up to defend herself. The verbal confrontation was high such that the diminutive South African looked funny daring a well built man like Alex.

This lasted for over ten minutes but the two quickly made up and claimed they were cool and not fighting.

“It wasn’t a fight, it was just a discussion”, claimed Alex while wearing a fake smile on his face.

The wager loss issue was serious and it just had to be tabled so all the housemates headed to the gardens to discuss the way forward and of course ponder over Biggie’s decision.

Zambia’s envoys Mumba and Kim surprisingly took different sides in the matter.

Mumba was open and supported the idea of striking to try and push Big brother to reconsider his decision while her country mate Kim was one of the few who said was afraid of the repercussions the strike might attract.

Kim told the gathering that she leant her lesson back home when she was expelled from school for demonstrating and that she learnt it the hard way.

The housemates were suggesting that they keep mute for the whole day except in the chat room because that was in the contract.

With two sides of opinions in perspective, a comprehensive conclusion was not arrived at as most housemates resorted to retiring to bed early and think about the issue overnight.

When most housemates took their leave, some of them remained on the couches in the garden and pairs were seen forming up. Kim and Nic were in each other’s arms till midnight so was Bhoke and Alex out in the garden.

Interestingly, though Nic told Big Brother the other day that Kim is trying to use her sex appeal to men as a strategy and that she would not succeed. Surprisingly the man seems to have fallen for the Zambian diva!

But on the other hand, he might just be taking advantage of the somewhat desperate Zambian diva because the other night the two Kim and Nic (Nickim) it seems, kissed goodnight for more than 10 seconds but Nic went to sleep under Bhokes covers just straight from the ‘Nickim’ kiss.

The other couple that seems to be gaining momentum is that of the two South Africans Luclay and Nkuli. The other night they revealed that the two had hidden hot passion for each other though neither of them was bold enough to let the cat off the bag.

The Tails House is surely getting amplified but tonight, most drama is expected to come from the Heads House as a DJ from Botswana is expected to send the house agog with music.

Watch out for the dramatic Confidence, what will she be up to tonight?

The Drama is expected to continue in the same Heads House tomorrow as fear, anxiety, suspense and emotions will certainly grip the house as the six nominees wait for Africa’s verdict on their stay in the house.

Confidence calls herself a black sheep in a movie who does not die until the end of the story for fear of killing the flair and drama and that she is like that black sheep. She is confident of surviving the eviction tomorrow.

The undying drama on DStv channel 198 on premium, compact, compact plus and DStv mobile can only be missed on one’s choice. Big Brother Amplified, press play.
