Luanda — At least 64 children belonging to the Association of Support to Abandoned Child (AACA), participated Thursday in Luanda, in a drawing contest called “My Dream, My House”, promoted by the LR Art Foundation and Culture and the Kora company.
On the occasion, the children could express their artistic creativity.
According to commercial director of the company Kora Angola, Lídia Santo, the contest lasted an hour and was attended by children of aged 8-14 years old, with the same competitions being held in the provinces of Huambo and Bie.
Lídia Santo said the contest is aimed to find the image that can improve advertising that Kora Angola is developing inserted in the programme “My Dream, My House”, under which there will be built 40,000 houses.
The director said that the winning child will receive various prizes including clothing, toys, books, and also articles value at AKz 100.000, the orphanage will receive material goods necessary for its maintenance with an additional AKz 300.000.
