Foreign Secretary Analyses Co-operation With Algeria, Cuba Diplomats

Luanda — The relations between Angola, Cuba and Algeria were on Wednesday, in Luanda, in the spotlight of the above-mentioned countries, during the separate meetings that the State secretary of Foreugn Affairs for Political Affairs, Manuel Augusto, granted to the ambassadors of these countries.

At the end of the meeting, the ambassador of Algeria, Boughaba Kamel told the press that were discussed issues concerning the preparation of the Joint Committee meeting between the two African countries.

According to the diplomat, the event is important since it will assess the state of cooperation between Angola and Algeria.

He recalled that the two countries maintain exchange in the sectors of Oil, Education, Agriculture, Health and Higher Education.

In his turn, the Cuban ambassador Pedro Ross Leal told the press at the end of the meeting that he informed the State secretary for Political Affairs the result of the Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba, which took place recently in Havana.

He also said that Manuel Augusto was also informed about the changes that Cuba is facing in the economic sector.

Angola and Cuba cooperate essentially in the sectors of Health, Education and Construction.
