Dondo — The Angolan minister of Energy and Water, Emanuela Vieira Lopes, Tuesday, in Dondo (Kwanza Norte province), viewed the works of rehabilitation of the Kambambe hydroelectric complex.
During the two day-visit, the Government official was informed about the works being carried out on the Kambambe dam generators.
The minister, accompanied by Kwanza Norte province governor, Henrique André Júnior, and by the secretary of State for Water, Luís Felipe da Silva, received from the engineers guarantees that the works that started in 2010, will end in 2012.
Emanuela Vieira Lopes also paid a visit to Dondo city water abstraction and distribution station and met with members of the local Social Council, with whom she discussed issues related to electricity supply.
