Karuturi Sports coach James Nandwa returns to his former Kenya Premier League club Tusker looking for nothing short of a win at the City Stadium at 2pm tomorrow.
Speaking from their base in Naivasha, Nandwa said he has an upper hand in the encounter because he knows the strength of some of his former players. Karuturi have not won their last three league matches. “We have worked really hard in training and I know we can scoop the three points,” Nandwa said.
Elsewhere Sofapaka entertain the on form Kenya Commercial Bank at Nyayo Stadium in another big clash. Sofapaka are seeking to improve on their prospects after drawing 1-1 with Western Stima in Wednesday’s KPL Top 8 semi final. They have not played a league match since April 16 when they lost 2-1 to Ulinzi at Karuturi Sports.
After drawing 0-0 with Mathare United in the KPL Top 8 semis clash Gor Mahia coach Zedekiah “Zico” Otieno will be confronting an inspired coastal side Congo United tomorrow. Armed with a new coach, Gilbert Selebwa, they shocked former giants AFC Leoopards last Sunday. Monday will also see a double header pitting champions Ulinzi against Rangers while AFC Leopards’ newly re-appointed coach Nick Yakhama will be seeking his first win against Bandari FC.
