Bocoio — Twenty people died and 56 were injured last Saturday following a car accident along the Bocoio/Lobito road, central Benguela province, ANGOP has learnt. The vehicle lost its brakes and overturned after coming from a funeral, local Police sources revealed.

Luanda — The Ministry of Education and its partners will hold from May 02 to 08 the “Week of Global Action towards Education for All”, reads a press release disclosed to ANGOP on Sunday.

The event will take place under the theme “Education for Girls and Women” and will be attended by the National Commission for UNESCO and the Education for All Network.

A workshop on the theme “Gender equality in the education system and the perspective for special education”, as well as radio and television debates will also happen on the sidelines of the week of global action.

The minister of Education, Mpinda Simão, will chair the event’s opening ceremony to happen on Tuesday at the Medium Institute of Luanda (IMEL).
