Mogadishu — Somali police forces warned people against holding rallies and demonstrations in the Somali capital Mogadishu.
Sharif Sheikhuna Maye, Somalia’s police chief said that they have come to know rallies and demonstrations are being organized with the aim of destabilizing the capital.
Maye noted that the police have learnt that Al shabaab movement is plotting to infiltrate and commit terrorist attacks in the rallies.
The Somali police chief indicated the people should inform the government before holding demonstrations.
He said the government wants the people to express the feelings, but the security must be cooperated.
