Dhusamarbeb — At least six people have been killed and scores more injured after heavily armed Al shabaab fighters launched ambush coordinated attack on Dhusamareb town where Ahlu Shunna Waljama tightly controls.
Al shabaab fighters completely took over Dhusamareb the provincial capital of Galgudud region in central Somalia and abandoned the town only hours after takeover.
Reports emanating from Somalia’s central town suggested that Ahlu Sunna forces recaptured it without fighting.
Calm is reported to have returned throughout Ahlu Sunna’s center in Galgudud region after little fighting.
Eyewitnesses told Shabelle Media Network Al shabaab fighters, who seized the town of Dhusamereb in short time, have stormed several weaponry stores of Ahlu Sunna and took a lot of weapon.
Al Shabaab has also looted the equipments of aid agencies in the area as well as the transmitter of Radio Dhusamereb.
