The General Manager of the Gombe state Cooperative Finance Agency (CFA), Alhaji Ya’u Hassan Marafa, has donated an office equipped with Internet facilities to boost the campaign activities of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate in the state, Alhaji Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo.
Speaking in Malam Sidi, headquarters of Kwami Local Government area of the state at the weekend when the candidate’s campaign rally held in the area, Ya’u Hassan said the office was meant for the e-campaign of the former Accountant General of the Federation.
He said he made the donation because of his belief that the world has become a global village and that the use of information technology is the fastest way of reaching the people and mobilizing support from the electorate.
Dankwambo, who thanked the donor, told his supporters that he was driven to seek for the state’s number one seat in next month’s general elections by his desire to serve humanity and to contribute his quota to the development of his community.
