Senator Adeyemi seeks unity in Kogi

The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Federal Character and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Senator Smart Adeyemi has called on the people of Kogi State to work together towards achieving unity and development of the state, irrespective of their tribe or religion.

Sen. Adeyemi, who represents Kogi West, spoke recently when an association of youths from Kogi East Senatorial District with the name Igala Youth Solidarity for Sen. Smart Adeyemi 2011, visited him in his office.

The senator noted that Kogi State required the coming together of all the people of the state to chart path of unity and development of the state.

“What you have done today is a demonstration of the fact that no matter where you come from, we are one people in Kogi State. We need the co-operation of one another, we need the understanding of one another and we need the help of one another so that we can realize a Kogi State that we can all be proud of,” he said.
