Elizabeth Taylor spent her 79th birthday watching the Oscars with her ”family and close friends” last night (27.02.11).
The double Academy Award-winning actress who was admitted to Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center earlier this month with symptoms of heart failure – was rooting for ‘The King’s Speech’, which took home four prizes at the ceremony last night (27.02.11).
Sally Morrison, the representative of the Hollywood legend, said: “Elizabeth will spend a quiet birthday this year as she continues to rest and recover at Cedars-Sinai.
“She plans to watch the Academy Awards with family and close friends and will be rooting for ‘The King’s Speech’.”
