Cheryl Cole will not be taking part in the US version of TV talent show ‘The X Factor’ as a judge because she is not famous enough in America and people don’t understand her accent.

Cheryl Cole has lost out on being a judge on the US ‘X Factor’ because of her British accent.

The 27-year-old beauty who is from North West English city Newcastle has flown to Los Angeles to discuss her role in the US version with TV bosses, but is reported to have been dropped from plans because she is not famous enough Stateside.

A source told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: “People just don’t know who she is over there and people struggle to understand what she is saying.”
