An investigating team from the Public Prosecution inspected on Thursday 29/12/2011 the premises of 17 Egyptian and foreign NGOs involved in the foreign finance case.
Investigative judges entrusted by the justice minister to examine the case have issued an order to inspect the offices of 17 NGOs after accumulating strong evidences that the NGOs have committed practices that run counter to the Egyptian law, the judges said in a statement.
The NGOs have not obtained permits from the foreign and social solidarity ministries to open branches in Egypt, the statement said.
