An agent of David Beckham has confirmed that the 36-year-old is in talks with Paris Saint-Germain, among other clubs, but that the LA Galaxy midfielder has yet to agree a contract.
Beckham has been persistently linked with a move to the Ligue 1 leaders when his deal in MLS expires imminently but, in an announcement to Agence France-Presse, the former England captain’s representative has insisted that the two parties have not reached any deal.
“There is no agreement with PSG at the moment, an offer does not equate to a contract,” the agent stated.
“We continue to hold talks with a certain number of clubs, including PSG and LA Galaxy, but no decision has been made and we are waiting for one now.”
A move to Paris Saint-Germain would see Beckham reunited with Carlo Ancelotti, who took him on loan from MLS to AC Milan in 2009, with the Italian expected to be announced as the French club’s new coach imminently.
