Confederation of African Football (CAF) coaching Instructor Honour Janza from Zambia has said the response showed by coaches who participated in License B course in Tanzania is quite great.
Janza who is also Technical Director of Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) was speaking in the closing ceremony of course held in Dar es Salaam from December 19th- 22nd and attracted 34 participants.
“The response is quite great, I want to congratulate you. I see potential on the coaches. You should get more because you are more than ready to take Tanzania football to another level. You can take Tanzania to African finals as well as World Cup finals,” said Janza who is also holder of UEFA License B.
He was assisted in the course by Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) Technical Director, Sunday Kayuni. Like Janza, Kayuni Tanzania is also CAF coaching Instructor.
TFF President Leodegar Tenga who doubles as CAF Executive Committee Member congratulates the participants and also asked them to make very good use of the License B.
For those who do not have contracts with teams, he advice them to work as instructors through their area football authorities or could sometimes volunteer to coach so that the knowledge acquired be useful to football fraternity.
President Tenga said for TFF, License B is a very important qualification, so for the coaches have to act, deal and behave professionally because football coaching is a profession like others.
“This is a profession. To be good ambassadors of football, to become true to what you believe, you have to give us professional analysis of a match,” said Tenga.
