The transfer of Olympic team goalkeeper Dele Ajiboye to Shooting Stars will collapse if he does not receive his first salary on Wednesday.

Ajiboye has agreed a seven-month loan deal with 3SC after his contract with Spanish Secunda Liga club Pontevedra was not renewed.

However, MTNFootball.com has learnt that the transfer to the Ibadan club is dependent on a clause which stipulates that he will be paid his first salary on Wednesday.

Shooting Stars have already run into troubled waters with central defender Sope Ahmed in this regard after he was paid the old salary and not the enhanced pay he agreed with the club.

Ahmed, who until recently played overseas, is now having a rethink and may head to former club Kwara United.

Officials have promised to pay their new signings half of their contract fees, while the balance will be spread across their monthly salaries.

Shooting Stars staged a transfer coup when they beat NPL champions Dolphin to Ajiboye.

Ajiboye’s switch was influenced by former general secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Taiwo Ogunjobi.

Further investigations revealed that Ajiboye turned his back on Dolphin after the league champions coach Stanley Eguma was not forthcoming on his personal terms.Â
