Luanda — The Casualty section of the Luanda Psychiatric Hospital receives 90 to 100 patients daily, said the head of the mentioned area, Jaime Sampaio.
The source adds that in the outpatients section about 150 people are treated everyday, whose age range from seven to 45 years old.
He also said that the excessive consumption of alcoholic drinks by parents has affected some children in a negative way, as well as illnesses such as malaria and meningitis.
Currently, 25 children aged between nine to 12 years are inpatients in the institution.
