Uíge — The national officer for emergency programme of the IERA evangelic church, Victor Balantaque, defended Thursday in Quisseque Commune, 55 kilometres northeast of Uíge City, the need for supporting needy people, aimed at reducing difficulties they face as result of natural calamities.

The source made the statement at a meeting with the population affected by rain in Cazungo and Quisseque villages, as part of a visit aimed at knowing the population’s necessities.

To Victor Balanquete, the church should work to complement actions of the local government as a partner.
