    Luka Modric, Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy says the future of star players Luka Modric and Gareth Bale future lies at White Hart Lane.

Harry Redknapp and Levy had a hard time in the summer fighting off continuously increased offers by Chelsea for their Croatian midfielder Modric.

After persuading Modric to stay Gareth Bale was next in line to be courted by big European clubs, this time Barcelona and Inter were showing interest.

“We have a great squad with exceptional talent and none of the main players will be leaving in January,” said Levy.

This was in response to the speculation about Chelsea returning in their headhunt for Modric, with the winter transfer window just 11 days away.

Despite having Modric openly express his desire to depart from the North London club, his Welsh teammate has not openly courted transfer talk. The team are sitting high in the Premier League table and are in fine form, causing various European clubs to turn heads towards Redknapp’s squad.
