Being hosts, expectations are very high for Uganda as the ICC Africa Women’s T20 Championship rolls off today.
Uganda, opening their campaign against Sierra Leone today, are favourites and captain Barbara Mukankusi is confident the team will excel. “We are ready, I believe we will get the job done,” Mukankusi said yesterday.
In the day’s opening game, former Ugandan bowler Maska Belinda will feature for Kenya when they take on Nigeria.
