It will be three days of pre-Christmas fun on the Eko Atlantic Beach as the Copa Lagos Beach Soccer tournament which will be broadcast live on DStv’s SuperSport, lights up Lagos.
The December 16th – 18th tournaments will pit the Sand Eagles against Reis da Praia (Kings of the Beach) Brazil, South Africa and England.
The budding football rivalry between the hosts and South Africa takes to the sand in a match that is set thrill, setting the tone for the rest of the tournament.
A rematch of the epic 2011 Beach Soccer World Cup quarterfinal between the Sand Eagles and Reis da Praia will bring the curtain down on three days of fun in the sand with the Eagles seeking revenge for their 10-8 extra time loss.
