Delta State Governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan, is expected to declare open this year’s edition of the Nigeria Private Universities Games, tagged Oghara 2011 on Tuesday.
Over 12 private universities have confirmed participation in the games, which is being hosted by Western Delta University, in Oghara, the headquarters of Ethiope-West local government area of Delta State. The Games, which is the 4th in the series, will last for nine days.
The Vice-Chancellor of the host institution, Prof. Peter Hugbo, said yesterday that arrangement had been put in place for a colourful opening ceremony at the Oghara Township stadium.
