Zambia defender Emmanuel Mbola has been invited for trials at Portuguese champions Porto.
The official TP Mazembe website has confirmed that promising left back Mbola has been given permission to travel to Porto in this respect.
However, TP Mazembe did not give more details about this arrangement.
Mbola will miss the 2012 Africa Cup after world football governing body FIFA slapped a four-month ban on him.
This followed a transfer dispute involving TP Mazembe and his former club Pyunik Yerevan of Armenia.
FIFA ordered TP Mazembe to pay Pyunik compensation for 18-year-old Mbola’s irregular transfer to the Lubumbashi team in 2010.
Mbola made his debut at the 2010 Africa Cup in Angola where Zambia reached the quarterfinals.
He is a very attack-minded, talented full back who is highly thought of by Zambia coach Herve Renard since his first spell with the national team.
He has severally been linked with a transfer to top clubs in the English Premier League.
