Giants Asante Kotoko beat Tanzanian side Simba FC 1-0 on Sunday afternoon in a commemorative match played in Dar es Salaam.
Midfielder Daniel Nii Adjei came off the bench to hand the Porcupine Warriors the precious win.
The match was organized to commemorate the 50th Independence anniversary celebrations.
Kotoko are on top of the Ghana Premier League despite playing one game less.
