Sevilla’s sporting director Ramon Rodriguez has hinted his club could approach Tottenham Hotspur for a second time for Mexican Giovani dos Santos.
The La Liga outfit had previously courted the player during the summer transfer market where their efforts were unsuccessful in trying to reach an agreement.
With the striker having fallen down the pecking order with manager Harry Redknapp, reports have suggested that he is keen to move elsewhere to play regular football.
A return to Spain could appeal to the 22-year-old former Barcelona man with Rodriguez noting: “We believe Giovani wants to leave Tottenham and that could be decisive.
“He was our first choice in the summer but Tottenham wanted too much money.”
