Since the beginning of the first phase of elections, there have been 122 appeals submitted to the administrative court concerning the elections in Kafr el-Sheikh.

Some of them were directed to the Commissioner’s Committee of the Supreme Administrative Court, while others were rejected. 22 appeals were submitted on Wednesday, December, 7th.

A juridical resource confirmed to “Aswat Masriya” that the appeals for both the lists and the individual seats vary between appeals for changing the electoral code, modifying the lists, changing serial numbers in the candidate’s lists and the vote-count results. Also, it was requested to cancel the decision of announcing the first election’s phase result. Moreover, there were appeals for suspending the runoff elections and annulling their results and the results of some ballots boxes as well.
