Jomo Cosmos defender Gladwin Shitolo
Jomo Cosmos must be better in the second half if they are to remain in the PSL, having leaked 15 of their 19 goals in the second period.
Ezenkosi have just eight points from their 13 games to date, but were their matches to be completed at halftime, they would have double that and be comfortably in mid-table.
In fact, Cosmos have been losing in just three of their 13 games at the break, and it has been their inability to hold onto a winning position, or at the very least a draw, which has cost them so far.
Indeed, 15 of the 19 goals they have conceded in the Absa Premiership this season have come in the second period, a huge and damaging percentage.
Platinum Stars are another side who need a second-half improvement, 14 of their 16 goals against have been conceded in second period and were matches to finish at the break, they would be placed sixth, rather than their current 13th.
The two teams with the best half-time records are Mamelodi Sundowns and Free State Stars, who have both been losing just two of their 13 matches at the break.
League leaders SuperSport United, Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates are next in line with just three losing positions.
The team with the worst record in the Absa Premiership at the break is Maritzburg United, who are behind Santos and Black Leopards respectively were matches to be completed after 45 minutes.Â
