A Chinese trawler which caught fire on Friday, remained ablaze in the Cape Town docks on Sunday afternoon, the city’s disaster management said.
“We cannot board the ship due to the danger it posed. It is very difficult and very hot,” spokesman Theo Layne said.
He said the ship was positioned at an angle making it dangerous for the fire-fighters to get on board.
