The announcement of results of the first phase of the parliamentary elections will be postponed to Friday 02/12/2011, said Head of the High Judicial Elections Commission (HJEC) Abdel-Moez Ibrahim.
The results were scheduled to be announced Thursday at a press conference.
The postponement came as the vote counting still continues in several constituencies due to the high voter turnout, Ibrahim said.
