Debuting his action packed franchise’s latest offering, Tom Cruise took center stage at the “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol” Tokyo premiere on Thursday (December 1).
Held at Roppongi Hills Arena, the 49-year-old big screen star was joined at the Japanese event by director Brad Bird, producer Bryan Burk and his lovely co-star Paula Patton.
During press duties in the Land of the Rising Sun preceding the red carpet premiere, Cruise was asked how he coped with hard training and long hours on the set.
To this, he replied, “I just love what I do and I do it because I want to entertain. I love being a part of the team and telling a story.”
Scheduled to hit theaters on December 16, “Ghost Protocol” also stars Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Josh Holloway, Ving Rhames, and Tom Wilkinson, with the plot finding “the IMF being shut down when it’s implicated in the bombing of the Kremlin, causing Hunt and his new team to go rogue to clear their organization’s name.”
