PICTURES:GAY WEDDING IN LAGOS
The senate passed a bill on Tuesday, November 29th, 2011 outlawing same-s*x marriage in Nigeria as well as banning public displays of affection between homosexual couples.
The bill, which still must be approved by the House of Representatives and signed by President Goodluck Jonathan, spells out a 14-year jail term for anyone involved in same-s*x marriages.
Those who abet or aid such unions could be given 10 years.
British Prime Minister David Cameron has warned that his country will consider withholding aid from countries that do not recognise gay rights.
Senate President David Mark said during debate on the bill on Tuesday that “our values are our values.”
“If there is any country that does not want to give us aid or assistance just because we want to hold on to our values, that country can keep her aid and assistance,” he said.
“No country has the right to interfere in the way we make our own laws because we don’t interfere in the way others make their own laws.”

First thing the senate would ever do to make me happy. Just having a chat with my boss at work about same sex marriage, and he thinks it is natural, and the society has to accept them. Its sad when i get on the train and buses ere, and see stuffs like this. Here n the UK, the society has learnt to accept them, I am not discriminating. The truth is stated in the bible. And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.

It’s very dishonorable that with all the problems in Nigeria, senate would deem it more important to address gay issue (s). PRESIDENT GOODLUCK / BADLUCK and his chamber of rogues should know that we have more pressing problems that need urgent intervention than what happen between two ugly black mannequin. Another annoying thing is that there is nothing appealing about these guys. But one of them later confesed that the pictures were taken on halloween day. That is, a marriage sham..
