It’s the colour everyone dons when it comes to celebrating Christmas.
But last night Michelle Heaton decided to get into the festive spirit a little early as she attended a Christmas party wearing a seasonal scarlet dress.
The 31-year-old star, who is expecting her first child with husband Hugh Hanley, highlighted her ever-growing baby bump in the figure-hugging long-sleeved dress, which featured a black belt detail at the waist.

Former Liberty X singer Michelle
teamed the dress with a pair of black opaque tights and knee-high boots
as she posed on the red carpet at the OK! magazine Christmas party, held
at Floridita.
Michelle also got to grips with another bump – that belonging to fellow celebritiy Sarah Cawood, who is also pregnant – as the pair larked around for photographers.
Earlier in the day, Michelle tweeted that she was looking forward to the event, writing: ‘Getting ready for the @OK_Magazine Xmas party 2nite! Bump is well excited haha x’

Michelle later took to her Twitter
page to inform her followers she had stopped off for some fast food on
the way home, but things didn’t go quite to plan.
She tweeted: ‘oh! I knew stopping for
a Maccy dee’s on way home from the @OK_Magazine party was a mistake!
Been waiting for 15mins for a bloody big Mac.
‘After the wait.. The big mac is freezing! Only managed half! #notahappyhungrypregnantlady! Lol.’

Michelle later added: ‘Right! Night
all! Tucked up in bed, little girl needs to recognise when it’s bed time
though…. She thinks the big mac meant play time! Lol.’
While Michelle looked stunning on the red carpet, she recently admitted that her weight gain sometimes made her feel a bit unbalanced
She said: ‘I went through a period four months into
the pregnancy when I felt really uncomfortable in my own skin and would
cry about petty things.

‘Not being able to get my jeans past my thighs at four months pregnant was excruciating, but now I feel more womanly than ever.

Michelle was joined at the OK! party
by fellow famous faces including Nicola McLean, who donned a Celeb
Boutique dress, and TOWIE star Maria Fowler.

Maria showed off her slender figure
in a pretty hot pink and silver strapless dress, while her former TOWIE
co-star Amy Childs also went for pink in a magenta sequinned number.
The duo were joined by fellow TOWIE stars Lydia Bright and James ‘Arg’ Argent at the party.
Kerry Katona opted for a silver sparkly minidress, while Lizzie Cundy stood out from the crowd in her patterned number.
But it wasn’t all colour and sequins,
however, as Liz McClarnon, Gemma Merna, Jennifer Metclafe and Made In
Chelsea’s Gabriella Ellis all decided on black outfits.
