Luanda — Angola, through former swimmer, Nádia Cruz, and former handball player, Elisa Webba, is participating at the 5th World General Assembly of Olympics Athletes Association being held in Lausanne (Switzerland).
Gathering 35 African countries of the 130 invited, Nádia Cruz and Elisa Webba are attending the forum in their capacities as chairperson of the Angolan Association and member of the African Executive Commission and Angolan deputy chairperson of the same organ, respectively.
29 candidates are standing for the World Executive Commission comprised by nine members.
