Paulette To Launch Album On Saturday

    Paulette Broohm, one of the country’s youngest and attractive music icons, will on Saturday launch her maiden musical album. ‘Simply Me’ will be launched at the Scratch Music Lounge located on the premises of the Guest Hotel at East Legon in Accra.

    Born in the 80s, Paulette, who appears on the front cover of the second edition of Scratch Magazine, a leading music magazine in Ghana today, is the most sensational talent to emerge in Ghana over the past decade.

    She is a prolific vocalist, song writer and an absolutely dashing entertainer. Based on her outstanding achievements since she joined the music industry a couple of years back, Paulette was featured on the Ben Brako/Scratch Studios World Bank sponsored project ‘Dream Child’ single.

    Music fans who will visit the venue to witness her album launch would be the first to hear Paulette’s newest songs. The launch is strictly by invitation and will attract leading musicians and movie celebrities from Ghana and Nigeria, as well as senior government officials, the diplomatic corps and the upper echelons of corporate Ghana.

    There will be performances by some selected music stars which include Steve Bedi, Owura, Eugene and Freeman Ame, who are all on the Scratch Music label.Paulette’s maiden album is currently available for download and purchase on all major digital music distribution networks worldwide including iTunes, Napster, CDBaby, Amazonmp3, Trade bit, etc.

    Paulette Broohm is currently recognized as the most talented songstress to emerge in Africa in recent times and is poised to make a gigantic leap in the world of showbiz.

    Paulette describes her musical influences as jazz, blues, hip hop, gospel and African music with specific reference to Whitney Houston, Alicia keys and Richard bona. Hugh Masekela, who features on her album, once remarked, “The girl has got talent.”
