Job Description
The company requires for immediate employment results-oriented and self-driven persons for the following positions:
Reporting to the Production and Maintenance Manager, this individual will be responsible for effective of the Plant and other equipment within the organisation. He/’she will:
- Develop and/or document policies, procedures, plans and strategies for plant maintenance that will ensure excellent plant availability
- Supervise and ensure effective execution of all maintenance activities
- Plan all preventive maintenance programmes and ensure implementation of same
- Assist in the ordering of spares including preparation of specifications and other requirements
- Determine and document maintenance costs for the various maintenance activities so as to assist with monitoring and budget planning
Required Skills or Experience
The preferred candidate will have:
- A University degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of five years post graduation experience, preferably in a manufacturing or processing plant
- Supervisory experience will be an asset
