The B5 warehouse located near the Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) on the Kpone road is currently on fire as Fire Service Personnel battle to quench the blazing fire.
The entire building of the B5 warehouse has been destroyed. Property running into millions of Ghana cedis has also been destroyed.
According to an eyewitness who got to the scene around 9:15 this morning, the warehouse, located near a storage facility belonging to the country’s only oil refinery TOR was on fire.
Personnel of the Fire Service are said to be at the premises battling the fire but according to the eyewitness “it seems to be an uphill task”.
The entire area has been engulfed in thick smoke billowing into the skies from the warehouse.
The Warehouse is owned by B5, Ghana Specialty Fads which produces shea butter.
Reports indicate that other fire tenders have arrived at the scene to help salvage the situation.
