Freetown — Popular Sierra Leone sports analyst, Zuhar Kudsy will be a special guest at a special sports programme organized by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) in Britain following an invitation received by the sports enthusiast from the world service media.

Speaking to Concord Sports, Kudsy said his contribution to the BBC in various sporting disciplines has in some ways given credibility to the broadcaster and that the invitation has come as no surprise to him.

The soft-spoken sports analyst disclosed that he has made numerous appearances on SKY Sports and has even received an award from the Manchester United Chief Executive in the early 90s. He said he would use the opportunity to project Sierra Leone’s image in the wider community, making sure the country benefits immensely from his participation.

Kudsy, however, made it clear that he was not in any mood to accept any position in the hierarchy of sports in Sierra Leone and that his services to the country will be available free of cost.

He added that Sierra Leonean players who are currently hitting the headlines in Europe must transmit that success into the national side by ensuring that the Leone Stars qualify for the 2014 World Cup tournament in Brazil.
