Nigeria’s Sunshine Stars won their second straight game in the CAF Confederation Cup after a 2-1 win away at JS Kabylie of Algeria Friday.

Sunshine are thus top of Group B with six points from two matches, while Morocco’s Maghreb de Fes, who beat JSK 1-0 in their opening group game, are away to Motema Pembe of DR Congo.

Motema Pembe were beaten 2-0 by Sunshine in Ijebu-Ode two weeks ago.

“We give God the glory and the Nigerian community also for all the support. Credit must also be given to the boys for this excellent performance inspite of all that they were subjected to,” said Sunshine top official Mike Idoko.

“We will not rest on our oars we will take it one game at a time with equal seriousness and determination.”

The home team went in front through Fares Hemetti in the 18th minute, before Sunday Emmanuel drew level on 39 minutes.

Striker Atanda Sakibu grabbed the match winner on 78 minutes.

Four Sunshine players were booked in this clash – goalkeeper Moses Ocheje, goal scorer Emmanuel, Precious Osasco and Moses James.

Two Group A matches will also be played on Sunday.  Nigeria’s Kaduna United are away at Club Africain of Tunisia, while Interclube of Angola will host Asec Mimosas of Cote d’Ivoire.
