Reports have suggested talks over deals involving Samuel Eto’o and Carlos Tevez could take place in Dublin where Inter take on Manchester City. However, Gasperini has tried to deflect the questions regarding their plans for the market.
“We will speak about football and the game with Manchester City, we are not obliged to speak about the market here,” Gasperini told the press, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, when asked whether they would deal for Tevez.
“I know the media are interested in the market, but we are here to prepare the game. There is plenty of talk, but one reality, Tevez plays for City and the others players who have been talked about play for Inter.
“Wesley Sneijder is here as is Samuel Eto’o and we are here to prepare for the Supercoppa Italiana, not to make our transfer market.
“In any case, the choices are made by the president Massimo Moratti, but the fact that great players are here means that Inter are a great team.”
On Friday Goal.com UK revealed how Tevez’s agent had met with Inter chiefs for talks on Thursday.
