IN a surprise show of humility, Uganda Super League (USL) has apologised to Mandela National Stadium, Namboole and sought audience to establish a formal working relationship with the stadium.
USL swallowed the humble pie after they came under attack for announcing that Namboole would host live Uganda Super League games on SuperSport television without consultations with the stadium management.
Namboole issued a press statement querying the lack of prior notice from USL.
However, the stadium’s acting managing director Patrick Ogwang told New Vision yesterday that they had received a letter from USL apologising and seeking audience.
“We have proposed a meeting on Tuesday next week to discuss commercial, technical and institutional issues.”
