Manchester City have hinted that Sergio Aguero may make his debut for the club in this weekend’s Dublin Super Cup.
The tournament, which will also feature Inter, Celtic and an Airtricity XI made up of players from Ireland’s top league, will be held at the Aviva Stadium in the Irish capital.
A squad list released on City’s official website states the strikers included are “Mario Balotelli, Edin Dzeko, John Guidetti, Andrea Mancini, plus one other”.
One notable absentee from the squad for the tournament is wantaway striker Carlos Tevez, who has been given extra time off after featuring for Argentina at the Copa America.
Organisers of the Dublin Super Cup revealed to Goal.com in March that the clubs playing in the tournament were contracted to play some of their star players.
