The West Bromwich Albion hitman has been recalled to the Nigeria squad to face the Black Stars at Vicarage Road on 9 August after falling out with coach Samson Siasia.
According to Izilein, the 30-year-old holds the magic wand to Nigeria’s victory.
“Remember Ghana have humiliated us in London a couple of years ago and I think that is right in the mind of coach Siasia. I know he is doing everything within his scope to ensure we do not get humiliated again,” he said
“And I’m expecting a good game, I respect Odemwingie because of his speed in the game and his contribution to the national team.”
Ghana hammered Nigeria 4-1 at the Loftus Road Park in 2007.
