El-Hadji Diouf‘s spell at Blackburn Rovers looks to be at an end after manager Steve Kean admitted the troubled foward is on his way out.

The Senegalese striker has had an indifferent time at Ewood Park, and failed to report for pre-season training, incurring a two-week fine.

“I think it’s probably the time for El-Hadji,” Kean said, according to the Daily Mail. “But it will depend on who is interested. It depends on what happens with the offers that come in.”

Meanwhile, Kean is more confident over the future of Benjani, and hopes to offer the Zimbabwean a new deal soon.

“It was a bit of a breakdown in communications,’ Kean added on Sky Sports News. “But I’ve spoken to him now and hopefully we’ll have a new offer we can go forward with.”
