Members of parliament are preparing a soft landing in case they don’t make it back to parliament in next year’s election.
The budget committee wants the parliamentary service Pension act amended to allow MPs who have only served one term to each receive 90,000 shillings a month as pension after losing their seats.
70 percent of current Mps are first timers yet only those who have served more than two terms are entitled to a pension.
