Ken Malamin Jammeh has renewed his contract with promotion chasing side Kooteepee with an option to extend.
The Gambian defender 23 was crucial in his side’s fine finish last season but a threatening injury left him sidelined to end of the championship. His contribution has been rewarded with a one-year term renewal with an option to extend should the club gain promotion to the Viekkausliga [premier league].
The former U-20 captain has proven a vital part of the Kooteepee defense setup since moving from Atlantis on trials.
Ken is among the latest Gambian players based in Finland to sign a contract within a week.
FC KooTeePee is a Finnish football club, based in the town of Kotka. It currently plays in the Finnish First Division.
