The budget committee started its two day retreat in Nyeri this morning to start compiling public views on the estimates by Finance minister Uhuru Kenyatta last month. The report will be tabled in parliament on Tuesday. Elias Mabu says they intend to re-allocate money from some ministries that failed to justify their share in Faineance minister budget presented in early June. They also indicate that demands from special interest groups including the Albino’s will be given priority.
